Women's Basketball Injury update:

November 1, 2007: 
Freshman point guard, Ericka King, likely to miss the first month of the season.

     "Ericka wasn't feeling well at our Alumni Day festivities and we sent her to be checked and it looks like she'll miss about a month of the season." Said a concerned Coach Welch. "She's been diagnosed with a mild case of Mono and won't practice again until released by her doctor.  It could be a couple weeks or as long as a month."
     "She's such a battler, one of our hardest workers and she was just starting to get into the flow." continued Welch. "Her defensive intensity will be missed and we certainly hope she's able to bounce back as quickly as possible."
