TENURE TRACK NURSING INSTRUCTOR FALL 2008

If so, then Kalamazoo Valley Community College may have the opportunity you are looking for. We are anticipating the following full-time position which will begin Tuesday, August 26, 2008. This position is contingent upon funding and Board approval. APPLICATION DEADLINE: FRIDAY, MAY 23, 2008.
NURSING – MEDICAL-SURGICAL Responsibilities include teaching both day and evening courses at the Texas Township Campus and other area locations, including our Allegan site; developing curriculum and participating in division, departmental and college activities. Applicants must be familiar and flexible with a variety of instructional strategies including an ability to utilize technology-based instruction in the classroom and have an understanding of the community college philosophy.
EXPECTED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: 1. BSN required with expected completion of MSN within 3 years. (Must actively be pursuing MSN). 2. Current unencumbered Michigan RN license required. 3. 2-3 year’s nursing experience strongly preferred.
