TENURE TRACK POLITICAL SCIENCE INSTRUCTOR TEXAS TOWNSHIP CAMPUS FALL 2008

If so, then Kalamazoo Valley Community College may have the opportunity you are looking for. We are anticipating this full-time faculty opening which will begin Tuesday, August 26, 2008. This position is contingent upon funding and Board approval. APPLICATION DEADLINE: FRIDAY, MAY 23, 2008.
POLITICAL SCIENCE Responsibilities include teaching both day and evening courses, developing curriculum and participating in division, departmental and college activities. Applicants must be familiar and flexible with a variety of instructional strategies including an ability to utilize technology-based instruction in the classroom and have an understanding of the community college philosophy.
EXPECTED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: 1. Master’s degree in Political Science required. 2. Candidates must have academic preparation and proven successful teaching background in Political Science, American Government and State/Local Government. 3. Postsecondary teaching experience required, preferably at the community college level.
