TENURE TRACK POLITICAL SCIENCE INSTRUCTOR

TEXAS TOWNSHIP CAMPUS

If so, then Kalamazoo Valley Community College may have the opportunity you are looking for. We are anticipating this full-time faculty opening which will begin Tuesday, August 26, 2008.  This position is contingent upon funding and Board approvalAPPLICATION DEADLINEFRIDAY, MAY 23, 2008.

 

POLITICAL SCIENCE

Responsibilities include teaching both day and evening courses, developing curriculum and participating in division, departmental and college activities.  Applicants must be familiar and flexible with a variety of instructional strategies including an ability to utilize technology-based instruction in the classroom and have an understanding of the community college philosophy.

 

EXPECTED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

1.         Master’s degree in Political Science required.

2.        Candidates must have academic preparation and proven successful teaching background in Political Science, American Government and State/Local Government.

3.         Postsecondary teaching experience required, preferably at the community college level.
