PART-TIME INTERPRETATION SPECIALISTS

INTERPRETATION SPECIALISTS Working hours – 15 to 29 hours per week, flexible schedule, which will include morning, afternoon, weekend, and some holiday and evening hours. Rate of pay - $8.60 per hour.
These positions involve working in a dynamic museum environment, interacting with children and adults to ensure them an enjoyable and rewarding educational experience. Must be willing to learn history and science content and presentation techniques. Duties include staffing exhibit areas, performing demonstrations and multimedia presentations, and assisting with special activities and programs. These positions will require the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
EXPECTED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: 1. Minimum of one year college coursework required. 2. Excellent presentation and communication skills required. 3. Some flexibility in work schedule required.
