NETWORK MANAGERClassification – Grade 6 Salary range - $38,540 Reports to – Director of Network Services
This position provides support for both instructional and administrative network users. Duties include installing and maintaining network switches, servers, workstations, software and printers; supporting PC applications and use of the administrative system; training and supporting users on network applications; working with computer services personnel in resolving reported computer hardware/software and other related duties.
EXPECTED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: 1. Associate’s degree in computer information systems or related area OR equivalent combination of education and work experience required. 2. Minimum of one year prior work experience in a multi-platform (Netware, Unix, Linux, Windows) networking environment desired. 3. Experience with telecommunications hardware and software desired. 4. Prior experience in providing user support. 5. Candidates must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
