PART-TIME TRAINING COORDINATOR – M-TEC
Candidates are invited to apply for the following part-time position, which will be based out of the Michigan Technical Education Center (M-TEC). PART-TIME TRAINING COORDINATORStarting Salary - $16.85 per hour Working hours – 20 hours per week, flexible work schedule possible Reports to: Director of Training and Development
This position markets KVCC M-TEC programs and seminars to the public, business, industry and other organizations; plans and prepares promotional and informational materials; meets with company representatives to identify and develop new programs and to evaluate on-going programs, and represents KVCC at events. The position researches, plans, develops, schedules and implements training seminars and programs; recruits and contracts with faculty, part-time instructors and trainers; conducts training if necessary; and evaluates and recommends revisions and improvements to programs. This position develops course content; coordinates course credits; processes necessary forms to order training materials; completes instructor contracts; processes other administrative paperwork and prepares grant reports, annual reports and other ad hoc reports as required.
EXPECTED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: A Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration or related field and experience equivalent to two years in training and development or a related field required.
