Background Info
I received my ADN from Kellogg Community College in 1968. I
have a BA in Health Education, a MA in Educational Leadership and a Specialist
Certificate in Gerontology, from Western Michigan University. I have practiced
nursing for 32 years, in Michigan, Illinois, Florida, California and Okinawa, Japan,
working in Pediatrics, Med-Surg, OR, Pharmaceutical nursing, Psychiatric nursing,
Labor and Delivery and Geriatric nursing. I have taught at KVCC since 1976 and have
taught Labor and Delivery, Fundamentals, Med-Surg, Post Partum, Leadership and
Pharmacology.
Educational Interests
I am interested in all new advancements in nursing. I enjoy
history and enjoy traveling to learn about other cultures. I am an avid reader
and enjoy reading all types of books.
