Professional Background:  B.A. and M.A. Western Michigan University. I've enjoyed a tremendously rewarding career in English both at Battle Creek Central High School and Kellogg Community College.  Coming to Kalamazoo Valley Community College has been a wonderful opportunity for me to meet the needs of adult learners and contribute to KVCC's  English Program.

Personal:  I am married with three children and three grandchildren. My husband is a Procurement Specialist at Parker Abex.  My older daughter, whose husband is in the military, lives in Tacoma, WA.  She has her masters degree and will be completing her student teaching in a Tacoma High School.  My second daughter is a graduate of KVCC working at Bronson Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist.  Our son is a freshman at Kalamazoo Valley in hopes of going into golf course management.
