Band (MUS 110) Created in the fall of 2003,
the KVCC Campus band is open to KVCC students and community members. This
ensemble is based on the standard concert band instrumentation (brass,
woodwind, and percussion) along with opportunities for orchestral cello
and string bass players. Potential members should have a minimum of high
school band experience. There is no audition to perform with the group
but informal auditions will be done in the first two weeks of classes to
determine part seating. The band rehearses in the recently renovated Lake
Auditorium on the main campus on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00 –
2:50pm.
