Background Info

He graduated from Washtenaw Community College with an Associate in Science in 1972. He began working in Respiratory Care that same year. He became registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care in 1972.He graduated from Western Michigan University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He has been working at Bronson Hospital for 25 years in many capacities including supervision. He is an instructor for Advanced and Basic Cardiac Life Support Courses offered by the American Heart Association. He have had several positions with the Michigan Society for Respiratory Care ( MSRC).  He began working at KVCC in Fall 1998.

Educational Interests

Rod's professional interests include pulmonary functions, nutritional assessments, and hyperbaric / diving medicine. Rod is involved in scouting activities. Other interests include motorcycling, scuba diving, soccer, softball, and cross-country skiing.
